Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Ledjyr. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Ledjyr is a financial-tracking and tax-estimate tool for online creators, freelancers, and independent workers. It helps you log income and expenses and calculates an estimate of federal and state tax you may owe, including a recommended amount to set aside.
Ledjyr is not a tax preparer, Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Enrolled Agent (EA), law firm, or financial advisor, and nothing in the service constitutes tax, legal, or financial advice. Estimates are based on the information you enter and on tax rules we've researched and coded as of the date noted in the app, which may contain errors, may not reflect recent legislative changes, and — for some states — has not yet been verified against a primary government source (the app indicates this where it applies).
Ledjyr currently models United States federal and state tax rules only, for the "Single" filing status. It does not currently model the Alternative Minimum Tax (AMT), the Net Investment Income Tax (NIIT), city or local taxes (outside a planned New York City module), part-year or multi-state residency, or dependents/Child Tax Credit. If you are not a U.S. taxpayer, or your situation requires a filing status or credit Ledjyr doesn't yet model, the estimates will not be accurate for you. We may update our calculation logic over time; a past estimate, screenshot, or export is a snapshot, not a guarantee of what a future calculation — or your actual tax filing — will show.
You are solely responsible for verifying any amount before paying or filing, for keeping your own financial records and receipts, for filing and paying your own taxes on time, and for consulting a qualified tax professional for your actual filing. Deadline dates shown in the app are estimates of the standard IRS schedule (which can shift for weekends and federal holidays) and are not official notices — always confirm official due dates with the IRS or your state.
You must be at least 18 years old, a U.S. taxpayer (or otherwise using Ledjyr solely to estimate U.S. federal/state tax), and able to form a legally binding contract to use Ledjyr. By using the service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised. Accounts are for individual use — one account per person. We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your account and data, but no service can guarantee perfect security.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Ledjyr for your own financial tracking and tax planning. This license ends if your account is terminated or these Terms end.
Ledjyr is offered on a subscription basis with a free trial, limited to one trial per person/payment method. At signup, we clearly disclose: the length of the trial, the price you'll be charged once it ends, and how to cancel before that happens — you can review these terms again anytime on the pricing page before starting a trial. Prices are shown and charged in U.S. dollars and don't include any taxes that may apply, which may be added where required.
A payment card is required to start the trial. If you don't cancel before the trial ends, you'll be automatically charged the subscription price shown at signup, and billed on a recurring basis (at the interval shown at signup) until you cancel.
If a payment fails, we (through Stripe) will attempt to retry it over the following days; you retain access during this retry window. If all retries fail, your access will be suspended until payment succeeds or you re-subscribe. We reserve the right to suspend access during an active payment dispute or chargeback.
You can cancel anytime from Settings → Billing (which opens Stripe's billing portal). Cancellation stops future billing, but we don't provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods — cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
We may change subscription pricing with advance notice; continuing to use Ledjyr after a price change takes effect means you accept the new price for your next billing cycle.
Payments are processed by Stripe, Inc. We don't store your card details ourselves.
You retain ownership of the income, expense, and profile information you enter into Ledjyr. By using the service, you grant us the right to store and process that information solely to provide the service to you (calculating estimates, displaying your dashboard, etc.).
Ledjyr's estimates are only as accurate as the information you provide. We're not responsible for inaccurate estimates resulting from incomplete, outdated, or incorrect data you enter. You're responsible for maintaining your own copies of financial records — Ledjyr is a planning tool, not a system of record for tax filing purposes.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
If you send us feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you agree we can use them to improve Ledjyr without any obligation or payment to you.
Ledjyr relies on third-party services to operate, including Stripe (payment processing), Google Firebase (authentication and data storage), and Vercel (hosting). If you sign in with Google, that sign-in is also subject to Google's own terms. Your use of Ledjyr is also subject to those providers processing data as described in our Privacy Policy.
We may modify, add to, or discontinue features of Ledjyr at any time, including which states or filing statuses are supported, and may perform maintenance that temporarily limits access. We're not liable for downtime, including around tax filing deadlines — don't rely on being able to access Ledjyr only at the last minute before a deadline.
Ledjyr lets you export your data (CSV, and other formats we may add). Exports are a convenience copy of what you've logged; you remain responsible for their accuracy. If you share an export with an accountant or other advisor, that's your decision, and Ledjyr isn't responsible for how they use it.
Ledjyr's software, design, tax-calculation engine, and written content (including the Guides section) are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property law. These Terms don't grant you any rights to our intellectual property beyond the license in Section 4.
Ledjyr is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that tax estimates will be exact. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ledjyr and its owner(s) are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to: tax penalties, interest, audit costs, or other losses arising from reliance on an estimate provided by the service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or (b) USD $100 — this covers trial users and anyone who hasn't yet made a payment.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
You agree to indemnify and hold Ledjyr harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third party's rights.
You may delete your account at any time from Settings → Data & export → Danger zone. This immediately cancels any active subscription and deletes your logged data and account from our active systems; any copies retained in backups are cleared within a reasonable period thereafter. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you (e.g., by email or an in-app notice) before they take effect. Continuing to use Ledjyr after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
By using Ledjyr, you consent to receiving communications from us electronically (email or in-app notices) rather than in paper form. These satisfy any legal requirement that such communications be in writing. Any future marketing emails, separate from service/legal notices, will require your own opt-in and include an unsubscribe option.
These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, reflecting where the business is currently based.
Arbitration agreement. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of Ledjyr will be resolved through binding, individual arbitration, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies. The arbitration will be administered by a recognized arbitration body under its applicable rules for consumer disputes involving parties in different countries.
Class action waiver. You and Ledjyr each agree to bring claims only in an individual capacity, not as a plaintiff or class member in any purported class, collective, or representative proceeding.
